The power output is adjustable, offering options of 1 kW, 2 kW, or 3 kW, giving operators full control over their sonar performance. A range of display modes and features ensures that skippers receive clear, intuitive information for efficient navigation and fishing.

Furuno Digital Filter (FDF) for Enhanced Clarity

The Furuno Digital Filter optimizes gain settings to produce highly defined images of underwater conditions. The FCV-295 excels at clearly displaying fish targets near the seabed. This digital filter also eliminates noise, delivering sharp and detailed echo presentations, and ensuring precise detection of fishing reefs or individual fish with exceptional clarity.

Adjustable Operating Frequency for Customization

When connected to Furuno transducers, the FCV-295 automatically registers the operating frequency range, which can be adjusted through the menu at any time. For example, using the Furuno 82B-35R transducer, operators can select frequencies from 66 kHz to 109 kHz. This flexibility is particularly useful for vessels targeting multiple species or when interference from other fish finders in the area is present.

Increased Transmission Rate for More Detailed Detection

The FCV-295 offers a transmission rate that exceeds conventional fish finders by more than 30%. As a result, it provides more detailed information about underwater conditions during the same sounding interval. The AUTO transmission function automatically adjusts the transmission rate for shallow or deep waters, improving seabed target detection.
